Everything about Electoral District Of Macquarie Fields totally explained

Macquarie Fields is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is represented by Dr Andrew McDonald of the Australian Labor Party. Dr McDonald had previously worked as a paediatrician at Campbelltown and Camden hospitals.
Dr McDonald replaces former Labor MP Steven Chaytor, who resigned following a conviction on domestic violence charges. Dr McDonald's principal opponent at the election was Liberal candidate Nola Fraser, who made wide-ranging public criticisms of the administration of Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals.
Despite the scandal associated with Chaytor's resignation, Dr McDonald was comfortably elected with 61% of the two-party-preferred vote.
